H&M is a fast fashion brand that loves doing partnerships with famous designers. In the last three years they have already released capsule collections with Balmain, Kenzo and Erdem. This year is the turn of Moschino.
The Italian brand revealed the collection yesterday in New York. And there was no better city for the presentation. There are not many places as eclectic as NYC. Colorful, fun and full of musical references, the collection screams Moschino by Jeremy Scott, yet it will be a little more affordable than the regular designs from the brand.
If you like a good faux fur, then this collection is for you. The coats can be amazing staples for many winters to come. Leopard is super trendy right now, but is a classic print; and black is the best neutral to build an outfit on. Both can also easily make you look rock’n ’roll chic. But if you have a more fun and colorful style, the cherry red one will be your prince charming.
Another big motif in this collection is metallic colors. Gold and silver appeared in many different forms and items. If you want to shine in the next months, go for a metallic (faux) leather jacket. But if you’re ready to party (or a casual walk at the park), a sequined doudoune (puffy jacket) or dress is a good choice.
- What do you think of the H&M X Moschino Collection? Which piece is your favorite? I loved the cherry red faux fur coat… xoxo
